Years ago, rigged up a cheap casting rod & reel with a steel nut and a chunka fur from an old parka, and would cast it out where my cat would chase and hunt it across the lawn until we both got tired. A passing neighbor wanted to know what I waz doing. “Aint you ever seen someone catfishing before??”Good times, good times…
Unca Jim: I think it’s nice to know you and the neighbor are actually talking to each other. All too often, folks are so buttoned up in their domicile or self absorbed in their silly “dumb” phones to actually speak to a neighbor..I say, “Good for you!”
To all above; Thanx for the flowers, I appreciate that. But all that cat-play and neighbors was/were in another life in a rural NY neighborhood twenty-odd years ago, when people tooted their horn when they drove by.

Might be better to have a retriever on that line, the fishing would be better.
