That would be confusing to Japanese ears.

Instead of the mall, the wife and I walk the Missouri Botanical Gardens in St Louis. We stop to feed the ducks and Carp in the lake. It’s much more pleasant than a mall.

When I go to the mall, if it’s in the afternoon at all, people keep almost running into me. At least Pluggers are more likely to watch where they’re going.

Unca Jim: I was surprised to discover the Japanese model kit company, LS, is spelled in kata kana, Aruesu, but never found why they named it with a phoneme not in the language. On the other hand, how well does the average Anglophone handle Bantu sounds of xk, qq, !k, and assorted other clicks?

I have a very close friend who is Japanese and speaks perfectly clear English. He has travelled to Japan on business, but was born right here in Minnesota…

These Pluggers need to come to the MOA in Bloomington, Minnesota. I believe it is slightly more than 1/2 mile around one level; unless you walk all the floors, that is. They claim to have over 4 miles of total store front footage. Personally, I hate the dang thing because it is just too big!.So, I am wondering where they are walking and how many times they circled the thing so one more trip around would be two miles…
