My father is two days AFTER Christmas.

I get that every year. No Wise Men, No Gold, No Frankincense, No Myrrh…

That’s me. My birthday is 12 days away from Christmas.

January 5th here. My parents couldn’t afford two sets of presents within two weeks, so I never got much of anything for my birthday. I learned not to celebrate my birthday, which puzzles my wife of 37 years to no end.

My father in law’s birthday is December 28, while my mother’s is January 4.

Guess I’m a Plugger after all.

Happy Newton-mas. I was born on Christmas myself, one of the few times, my mum got out of making Christmas dinner.:)

I’m Xmas Eve, my husband is 12/20, this definitely hit home for both of us. My parents did the half birthday trick when I was younger, but that doesn’t work as an adult…

So does that mean all Plugger’s parents got busy in March? Do Plugger’s parents only go for it one time of year when the spring thaw hits? I don’t get it.

Husband’s birthday is today, Dad’s is on Christmas proper…

No kidding! Mine is Jan. 4, and when I was a kid, my aunt and grandmother would send me a Christmas card, and a note on it said, “this is for your birthday, too.” I’ve always threatened to do a “Queen Elizabeth,” and celebrate in June or July, as my “official” birthday, just like the Queen does. As is, it’s VERY unfair!

Mine is 15 days before Christmas. My parents always seemed to make it work when I was a kid. My sister and I pretty much got the same amount of presents for birthdays and Christmas (hers is in June). I guess my parents were good at planning ahead. Nowadays I am lucky if anyone REMEMBERS I have a birthday (tho’ my husband always does).

I know the feeling. My Bday is today. The only time it really worked for me is when I was a teenager. I could get bigger ticket items as a combo gift. I got a stero one year as my Bday/Christmas present.

BTW HAPPY BIRTHDAY to knitkitty’s hubby too. :-)

My birthday is close to election day. Sometimes I get what I want for my birthday, sometimes not. This year was mostly good, two and six years ago, mostly not so good…

At least … people are not likely to forget your birthday. This must be a special “present.”

I call foul. Being a plugger is a choice lifestyle. Not something forced on you from birth. If that was the case every single person ever born in late December is a plugger.

This comic lost me. How is being born near Christmas related to anything else that defines being a Plugger?

A better line would be “Pluggers are so cheap, they’ll get you a combined gift if your birthday is around Christmas.”
