    BUT… if it’s stained, ripped, and/or broken, just dump it. I had to learn that as a Salvation Army donation shed attendant. Also, donors have to learn to call 1-800-SATRUCK to let a truck pick it up form your home; large items just can’t seem to fit in a shed at times.

    Avoid Craigslist like the plague. People have been robbed because of someone who put in an ad, or answered an ad on there. Better off just donating or junking it, or going through someone you know who may know someone who would buy it.
