Who needs a clicker … a real plugger car still has an antenna … with a white plastic ball on top.

Didn’t work so well back when Atlantic-Richfield gave them away with a gas purchase. Imagine a parking lot full of orange-balled antennae.

Who’s been that close to calling 9-1-1 because their car must have been stolen?

I leave my hubby in the car, and if I get lost, I call him on my cell, and he comes to find me.

I learned what section of the parking lot to memorize. Like at the Mall of America it goes..Side of mall for parking/Floor/Aisle(letter used)/Post number it is closest to. .Like W4B11. Tells me that my car is on the west side, fourth floor, second aisle from the door, post number it is by. If I used that particular code. I’ve also noted it on my phone so incase I need to refresh my memory..And yes, they do number every so many posts to help folks find the car..I have never lost my car doing that method.

My 1971 VW bus is taller than most anything around. Easy to spot.

But, what if you’re parked in an area where there are cars that have the same team flags on them? Now what?

Heck with it! I just order most of what we need online. The days of shopping “just for fun” have long passed.
