I had a Rice Crispies ring, at one point it was worth big bucks. Of course I’d lost it. And nothing in my four foot pile of comics was ever worth any more than the original price. LOL
My mother through out all my comics. I had Action #1, it was dogeared, but still valuable – I knew it was collectable, just not how to keep it. I had the first Batman and a few others that would help pay my beer tab.

On the oldies radio station that I listen to will introduce a record by saying, Now Here’s a song that your mother threw out when you moved out.

After I moved away, my Mom gave away (or maybe sold in garage sales) all the toys I played with as a kid…
