Problem is the states that are part of the multi-million power ball lottery have it worked out so that the prize will never reach 1 billion.

I won $2 with a $1 ticket. I spent one of those $ on another ticket. Lost. So I broke even. Decided to stop there. Had fun playing and didn’t wind up losing anything.

I BUY LAST WEEK’S TICKETS FOR 75% OFF. YOU HAVE ALMOST EXACTLY THE SAME CHANCE OF WINNING.

A couple of winners and millions and millions of suckers, put that $10 bucks a week in an IRA or some other interest bearing account.

a girl at work collected from coworkers to buy multiple powerball tickets when the prize was sky high. we won only about $8. I asked her what she did with that money and she said she was unable to pay everyone anything since not enough. I asked why she did not just buy more new tickets with the money. her dumbfounded look told it all, she used it for cigarettes.
