Me not even see TV anymores.

I remember Playboy Magazine had a special edition featuring Vanna White, c. 1980.

Gave it up when they went large and stopped being a full guide to TV programming.

That’s still out there?

It’s still being published? Wow. I’d of thought it died after streaming really became a dominate thing.

The only reason I subscribed to TV Guide was for the local listings. (I didn’t have cable at the time.) I canceled my subscription immediately when they switched to the glossy, useless all-stories-no-info format.

Yay! I’m not a plugger! Woo-hoo!

I already knew that I wasn’t. I’m a smartphone addict.

I stopped reading/buying it when they took out the local listings. I don’t need all the national channels – I wanted to know what our local stations were offering. And if it’s like their website – they don’t even do all of the networks – especially the regional sports channels like ACC and SEC networks – nor the Big Ten – I don’t know the others because there are no listings at all.

Deer, rabbits, and squirrels use tail-vision to know when to run. The tail-vision guide runs in front.

I miss those days, and the Reader’s Digest.

I still get the print edition of the newspaper. Just a dying breed I guess. :)

The only hard copy guide I get is from PBS, no extra charge after donating, which I happily do. Probably the channel I watch 80+% of the time.

It used to be a good magazine. It’s not anymore. The Fall Edition was one I waited for to find out about the new shows they had. Now they cancel a show once a week.

My paternal grandma used to do the crosswords in TV Guide.

Never got it – parents said it was a waste of money as the listings were in the newspaper.
