I am older than my dad ever was. I am older than 3 of my grandparents ever were. I am older than all 3 of my parents siblings ever were.
That leaves mom and her dad as the only 2 near relatives (other than my generation) who lived longer than I have at this point. I am the second cousin by age on dad’s side and the oldest cousin on mom’s side.
