Dog 1: You guys captured a cat? Pops: We sure did! Poncho's house is lousy with 'em! We only got one, and we lost our rental store deposit on all the Nixon masks, but we have in this box the first cat that's going to be catapulted to the moon! Dog 1: Woo hoo! Pops: I can imagine the look on the faces of Poncho's master and his stupid cat-lady girlfriend when they wake up tomorrow to find out one of their precious kitties is missing! Ha ha ha ha! C'mon everybody. Let's get this catapult dismantled and rebuilt outside!

The original cat-catapult’s design was to place cats in orbit around the sun. Oh well, must have been a field change order.

Remember his inner dog is a clown, he’s all about a good laugh and good times, but I don’t think he wants to see anyone really get hurt.

But how will the other dogs react when they realize that Poncho wasn’t helping them dismantle and rebuild the catapult, and now the cat is missing? They will know that Poncho is the one who released the cat. How will he regain his doggy dignity?

At heart Poncho is a good guy. The cat is safe thanks to Poncho’s conscience.
