Chazz: So you really don't remember eating the cat food? Poncho: No! I feel ripped off! Chazz: What's more important, the act, or the memory of the act? Poncho: I would have said the act, but without the memory, the act is rendered pointless! Poncho: If someone told you that you had the greatest night of your life last night, but you couldn't remember it, what would be the point of it having happened? Chazz: Especially if you're going to get in trouble for it. Poncho: So you agree. I should get to eat all the cat food all over again! Chazz: We've got it on videotape! That's memory enough!

I’ll bet Chazz has had some wild and crazy nights he didn’t remember the next morning, but he wouldn’t admit it to Poncho.

Poncho’s logic succeeded in one thing…..he’s not going to be in trouble. Just going to forget about it this time.

One New Year’s Eve, a coworker said excitedly she was going to get so drunk that night, she wouldn’t remember a thing the next day. I don’t get it. WHAT’S THE POINT?????? It’s like Total Recall: why bother having an actual experience, when the MEMORY of an experience is all that really matters!

Destiny23…….Sometimes our memories aren’t very accurate, even when sober. Your colleague probably preferred HER recollections to those of everyone else.
