It is the job of one of our dogs, since we have no sheep, to alert me to what’s gong on outside. Which he does. Vociferously. The odd thing is, he has no problem with the guys who do the lawn once a week and come right up to the door blowing things away. But the poor mail carrier, who comes every single day, might be aiming a Howitzer at the house the way Gray goes off every time he or she approaches. What is it with dogs and the mail???
