I guess Teena school doesn’t have a dress code. I guess Teena only want’s to wear t-shirts and shorts.

    And no excuses.

I personally don’t understand tomboys. I love the girly stuff.

Teena looks great in a dress, but doesn’t feel comfy. At least other kinds of socks are welcome. It’s going to be chilly come winter only wearing shirts, though.

And then there’s the school code: “No sex, no drugs, no wine, no women, No fun, no sin, no you, no wonder it’s dark.”

When I was in junior and senior high, girls always had to wear dresses or skirts, even in the middle of winter. Since I have always preferred comfort and practicality over following the latest fad, I think I have only worn a dress about three times since I left school more than 55 years ago. I don’t imagine I ever will wear one again.

This reminds me of what I didn’t like about last week’s fantasy roll playing. A girl like Teena would not imagine herself in skin tight dresses and sky high heels. She’s more likely to picture herself working as a scientist or veterinarian or even an army officer, not some empty-headed model.
