doctoon, hee hee, I hope Stantis doesn’t mind the party. Do you have Blue Bell and/or Blue Bunny ice cream at your store? Chemo has messed up my taste buds so chocolate tastes like dirt to me, but Vanilla is still good, especially Old Fashioned or Vanilla Bean.

Dry, I saw your post about the Cowboys. I liked Tom Landry too. My elementary school principal, (Robert “Bob” L. Martin) was a football coach before he was a principal. He coached high school football at my mom’s high school. He also coached in a close by Texas town and Tom Landry was one of his players. Mr. Martin was a wonderful man, he was very proud of Tom and all of his accomplishments with the Cowboys. When Mr. Martin passed away, Tom served as a pallbearer at the funeral.

All right, we’ve received a complaint about all the noise over here from the Quigmans. I’ll have to ask you folks to keep it down, or I’ll have to call SOTU and have them send the heavyweights over here.

    ;-)

I brought my own lawn chair, and some iced tea. It’s in the 60s here, and sunny. I’ve also brought pulled pork and some home made bread to make sandwiches. Please be sure to save some for Doc when he wakes up. He told me that there was a party going on over here, and that I should check it out.

Carmy, I’m sorry to read that you have cancer. One of my friends is in remission from lung cancer right now. She’s still horribly tired from the chemo.

~ I’ll just invent another one for this site. Do we really need a ‘confusion couch’ though? Doesn’t seem to be much confusion around here. This one will be permanently scotch guarded, and will automatically repel dust mites and cat hair.

Whatever furniture we get here may need some protection. (It’s a DRY heat). Haven’t seen much in the way of squirrels, but I have seen evidence of at least one coyote, a few lizards a tarrantula and a scorpion or two. . [EDIT] - Don’t mind the snakes, they’re from SOTU and relatively harmless and they do have their uses. . JOY - About SOTU, I’m just going to say careful They got teeth and though not deathly, can be venomous.
