That reminds me of the lawyer who thought it was fair for a man to be put to death even though there was evidence that proved his innocence. The evidence was known to the prosecutor and the judge but the defense attorney missed the arbitrary deadline.
The lawyer thought this was fair. I asked “What about justice?” The lawyer said “Justice is for God. We have a legal system.”

“Fair” is a null term unless one adds “un” to the front of it. In that case, one is describing Life.
