Why anyone would refuse affordable medical care is beyond me. If you get stuck with a high medical bill then you either can’t pay it or simply refuse to then taxpayers have to cover it with higher medical expenses. Insurance helps cover the high costs & in the end will lower them forcing Doctors & Hospitals to justify their billin methods.
And dapper….you’re way off on insurance causing medical costs to go down. Just the opposite. If that were true, with as long as medical insurance has been around the costs would be under control now. But no. The insurance companies get DISCOUNTS and higher costs are passed on to patients.
I don’t have the answers and don’t claim to understand it, so I’ll just leave that to all those who claim they do… but it appears that those people in power that want something, write the laws to make their wants imperative. Reminds me of something a history teacher told us back in the 60’s about the moving of power across the globe from China through Egypt, across to Rome in Italy, Greece and Spain in the Mediterranean region, up to Britain and finally across the pond to the US. The movement of global cultural and economic dominance and power is ever Westward… where to from the US, again to China? Russia? Japan? I seems like the U.S. is following in the ways of old world monarchies.
Naw…no forced healthcare for me..I’ll just hit up the emergency room like the rest of the 15-20 million illegal aliens(you don’t really believe the illegal mex’s will sign up do you?)..

Or, y’know, a $95 fee so you can sponge off the taxpayers and people who did get coverage.

Time Traveler called it yesterday that there was an Alice in Wonderland reference with the drink-me thingee.
