Respectfully disagree, exoticdoc. Think the GOP pols know who votes for them, and what their voters want – they just ignore us and spend like democrats.

Given the numbers of GOP reps and senators, exoticdoc2, they do have plenty of voters.

By the way…..This present sequence of cartoons is a recycled arc. We are back to Senator Kenneth, and Carmen’s hairline is about 2/3rds of the way from the original 1/2 bald towards where she was last year.Mr. Stantis is taking a break?

Any partisan comment about the other party is bigoted and meant to be offensive. Besides nobody believes them except other bigoted party comrades. Would you believe what North Korea says about South Korea? Would you believe what a Muslim says about a Christian? How about what a Ford Dealer says about a Chevrolet product… Why would anyone believe what a Democrat says about a Republican and vice-versa?

Yep, and broad generalities usually involve many very shallow and narrow-minded specifics; but I can entertain making this super simple. Any partisan comment about the other party is bigoted and meant to be offensive, why would anyone believe what a Democrat says about a Republican and vice-versa. If the comment were not intended thusly, they would be bragging about their own party.

I just thought of another “Generality”, concerning the Civil War which was the product of animosity between Northern states and Southern States over agricultural and industrial economics… The North enjoyed the profits from processing the goods of the South. The South was beginning to industrialize and furthermore ship elsewhere for cheaper processing; reducing the North’s profit margin. This was possible because of Southern slavery. The North was maintaining their economy because of indentured immigrant employment and below poverty level and property of the company. ECONOMICS between the North and the South, sustained by abusive treatment of the underprivileged of both societies. Everybody has heard of the North’s claim about Southern slavery and the South’s claim of Northern indentured immigrant servants who bought themselves into industrial ownership (paid slavery). It’s far easier to complain about the faults of the other guy than to elaborate on your own achievements.
