DEATH AND TAXESTax his cow, tax his goat.Tax his pants, tax his coat.Tax his crops, tax his work.Tax his tie, tax his shirt.Tax his chew, tax his smoke.Teach him taxes are no joke.Tax his tractor, tax his mule.Teach him taxes are a rule.Tax his oil, tax his gas.Tax his notes, tax his cash.Tax him good and let him know,After his taxes he has no dough. If he hollers, tax him more.Tax him ‘till he’s good and sore.Tax his coffin, tax his grave.Tax the sod in which he’s laid.Put these words upon his tomb:“Taxes drove me to my doom.”And after he’s gone he can’t relax:They’ll still be after Inheritance Tax!

I would abolish all regulators – all. There is no instance where I trust an arbitrary bureaucrat as much as the market.

I could support something like an FDA so long as its only power was to grant a license that prohibits private suits. The FTC’s core powers – punishing collusion or fraud – are meritorious, but duplicative of DoJ power. Abolish them all.

Easy way to identify a dummy: ask them, “What caused the Great Depression?” If they answer “the stock market crash” you are dealing with someone with no grasp of economics. The silly people thus created the SEC, which seemingly cannot prevent similar crashes; but now we know it does not matter. Just adds costs to every product – someone has to pay for investment “bankers” and securities lawyers – and it increases monopoly power by making it impossible for a potential competitor to raise capital.

You trust the market more than regulators?

    Wow. No words.
