It’s sad that regardless how proficient an independent is, they are immediately rendered impotent by the two major partisan cults and hamstrung before barely approaching the starting blocks. One must claim either major cult because of the straight ticket simpletons and cult proprieties of the electorates. Even though that didn’t work so well for Joe Lieberman, either. Go Bernie!
