All in the name of those increasingly misnamed “free Market” values you worship so dear. Welcome to Big Brother. Surprise, he’s not the government, he’s Amazon.

The (some) Drug War cut some of it away. And the Nation Security state continues with more, and allowing corporations to take our information and make money off of it, but not ourselves. Shouldn’t we be consulted on this? And where is our 50% cut of the proceeds? Pay up or leave me alone.

For anyone that writes a diary on your computer, it can be hacked. The best way to ensure that no one knows your private thoughts is the oldest way: write it in a book. Completely offline and the only way anyone could know about it is if you tell anyone. I’ve given my nieces journals for Christmas for the past few years and they use them!

Say hello to Facebook and other social media. There’s an excellent film that just opened regarding our loss of privacy called The Circle. It’s like Facebook on steroids with an interesting look at what would happen if we can literally watch and comment on people’s privates lives

No, Winslow, it didn’t “die”. It was enslaved.
