Sadie and I filled out our ballots this evening, comfortably seated at our dinner table, researching candidates and issues, then inking our choices. (If we wanted to, we could get up brew a cup of coffee, or visit the bathroom, ‘cause we don’t live in Georgia). I could mail them, but I’m going to the library tomorrow anyway. I’ll put them in the Drop Box next door, at the sheriff’s office.
We trust our state, and our voting-by-mail system. I do feel sorry for folks that must stand in line for several minutes – hours – if they’re persons of color in some states – only for the privilege to stand in a flimsy booth for a bit. To me that’s a disincentive to vote, and I can’t help but think it’s intentional.
It’s interesting that NONE of the Trump Disciples who usually comment have NOTHING to say about Trump’s ‘enemy within’ statements, nor do they have anything to say about his plans to have tariffs on everything that is imported.
And they’ve never even heard of Project 2025.
.
And of course they are oblivious to Trumps mental breakdowns.
.
And Haitian illegals eating cats and dogs? Never heard anything about that. Who says stuff like that, anyway?
I must be tough being a Republican knowing that they have under-performed in every election since they overturned Roe v. Wade. This year will be no exception.
Every time I see that half the country is willing to vote for Putin’s pawn, it exhausts me.

If you haven’t had the chance, take a gander at the Dave Bautista video from the Kimmel show. M’wife hated it because it was “too mean”; but my fellow puerile friends enjoyed it quite a bit.
I’m with Carmen – politically exhausted. And there’s no end in sight even after the election. It’s almost as bad as all the Medicare Supplimental Insurance Information commercials.
“In red-leaning populations, the line to vote is short or nonexistent.” Because they have no enthusiasm for their wokist candidates. Just wait a month.
I was politically exhausted when I turned 18….over 20 years ago. Some people can’t start their day without some political strife and conflict. It’s like their coffee to them.

Kamala Harris appears politically exhausted, and will probably lose the 2024 election to Donald Trump.

This election isn’t politics. It is defending and saving this Great Nation from tRump and his fascism.

This strip SUCKS! Lame, cynical, too-cool-for-school whining every day. Not a joke to be found. It ruins the comics page for me.

A Politico study shows that crazy Trump lies 76% of the time, that exhausts any normal honest person.

Trump’s staff called him exhausted the other day when explaining why he was backing out of so many interviews he’d committed to do.
