Perhaps you have a problem with english. I gave my opinion of the cartoon. You called me a name and pointed to an interpretation in another post. I disagreed with the interpretation in the other post and gave mine. You’ve completely forgotten that I found the cartoon distasteful and below the cartoonist. If you keep the premise and swap the subjects while using an outrageous example, as he did, I would still be insulted. The extreme presentation is insulting and the cartoon is not designed to be “editorial” but is a hit piece. If the roles were reversed it would still be a hit piece. Period.

I’m sorry you are unable to express a position and must descend to labeling an idea you don’t understand. Someday you may be capable of participating in reasoned discourse. Perhaps you’ve been unduly influenced by television programming.

First, starting out by denigrating me personally detracts from and debases any merit your argument may have had. As to the quote, I’ve read the whole transcript, and while the ideologues on the right are blowing it out of proportion for effect, the gist does point to our CIC embracing the collective and suggesting that hard work is overvalued. A position I heartily disagree with.

Trash like this is beyond the pale. Mr. Luckovich has left the arena of debating an opinion entered the asylum of fools using children’s tactics to promote their ideology by attacking an individual’s character. I’ve been a Democrat since JFK but the schoolhouse trash and character assassination coming from the party makes the Republicans look like angels.
