A pristine book is a horror. A book has to be alive, with the scars of a long life being read and read again, put down, forgotten, picked again, squashed in a bag, dragged to the beach… That’s how you know it is a well loved book.

Well, I couldn’t stand being told to read a book. And a very boring one at that. So I usually asked another student what the story was about, read two pages to see the style and then wrote something. On Sunday evening. At least I didn’t have to read the dratted thing.

I agree. Night at 5.30 is downright depressing. I’d rather have more light when I’m out of the office than when I am going to the office.

I have coloured tapes, so I wrapped the head of the cables with a different colour each. Yellow for USB-C, blue for USB-A, red for mini. That’s so much easier, no need to check each end, pick up the right colour.

    Erh, not really, no.

Hypothesis : a scientific hypothesis is a possible explanation of finds.

Theory: A scientific theory must be backed with scientific evidence and have passed a rigorous testing process (why it is happening).

Law: A scientific law is simply an observation of the phenomenon (what his happening).
