Gasoline Alley has nearly always been a sweet comic with simple and silly story lines. This is a standard Sunday smiler in my opinion.
It’s also worth mentioning that Nina and Skeezix are thinking of their 70’s as past history and aren’t quite as strong as they were before WWII, in case that’s not common knowledge… I’m on their side just like I love my 85 year old Pop and his sweetie!
I once had a cat I named Skeezix, because he was an orphaned stray kitten….
