Huh? but “okay?” That should be “k….”

I have a dirty mind, noting the position of his finger….

Joe- it’s a comic strip, dude!

  4. about 15 years ago on Doonesbury

Remember that, while it does make a statement, it is still a comic strip and the opinion of the artist. Yet, I happen to agree. I’ve heard of no seniors in the real world willing to give up Medicare.

There is much hypocrisy in the “my country right or wrong” extreme right. It’s not THEIR country anymore? Oh boo hoo. This is the 21st century, not the 19th. Get rid of your “stars and bars” and over it. Succession? Right; pay for all the services the federal government is currently providing.

And Ms “dumb as a box of rocks” Palin? Oh, please. A Journalism Major who couldn’t even name ONE single publication. Her excuse was that she was nervous? Yeah, life is like that, especially in the public eye….

Doe’s eat oats and mares eat oats but little lambs eat ivy.

  6. about 15 years ago on Close to Home

This is a classic panic attack, not depression or anger. I have a Masters in psych.Prozac won’t help, If the panic is part of PTSD, there are some anti-depressants that could help if the problem is chronic. Some general practitioners might prescribe tranquillizers, but that would create more problems and it solves since the benzodiazipams are addictive.

  7. over 15 years ago on Dana Summers

The first 3 were attacked all the time, in the media, especially. There were lots of jokes about how ugly Chelsea was, and the Clintons did NOT use her as a campaign prop.

  8. over 15 years ago on Out of the Gene Pool Re-Runs

The movie and recording industries are in it for the money. They want people to pay exorbitant amounts, and work hard at intimidating people to give in to their demands.

Avian flu is still around, it just hasn’t made it to the US. So if you think there was hype about H1N1, just wait. The bird flu is 850 times more deadly than swine flu. In Indonesia, 80% of those that contract this flu end up dead.

All we gotta do is keep lowering taxes!!! Isn’t it obvious?
