My niece was not a hugger. She was very clear. “Grandma, you know I don’t like to hug.” After her brother was born things changed. He was always reaching out to hug people. She started to like hugs after that.
It was a long time ago when I was a new customer service manager. Now I’m an old customer service manager and things don’t bother me as much. I do love my job.
My little black cat was very supportive and would rush over to lick my face and purr when I cried. On a particularly bad week, after four or five days of crying after work, she still comforted me but first she slumped her little shoulders as if to say “ugh again with the crying.”
