   This gag makes me think of the German pfenning. When I was stationed in Germany back in the 80’s the Germans still used Deutschmarks. The pfenning was the smallest unit of currency and practically without financial value. But us GIs still carried them because people would shout “Pfenning Check!” and if you didn’t have one you had to buy the next round. If you DID have one whoever called it had to buy for you.

   This is a problem we made ourselves. With common sense and compassion this would be an easy problem to fix. The problem is that so many of the mean people think that illegal also always means wrong.

   At one time it was illegal to be an escaped slave. Was the fugitive slave wrong, or a criminal? No. But our government considered them so. We create the same issue with immigration.

   Not sure you’ve heard but the guys have been making internet content for decades. Cinematic Titanic and Riff Trax are both MST style shows found on the internet, even down under. And MST3K itself was reborn several years ago, Gizmonics is now on the Moon. They are on several streaming services.
