   I dont get the people who compare children to pets. We (petowners) dont. I will Never ever have a child and I dont want to. So I have a pet and it is the most important to me. His loss will be devastating and no just beacuse you losing a child is awful doesnt make loss of a pet less awful. Stop comparing them. Only people with children will feel so entitled to downplay childless peoples feelings.

   Just stop reading the comments. the strip is rerun for the Nth time. Jacob never really spoiled it. You keep asking for no spoilers just makes people spoil it for the fun of it. You dont need to be a genius to guess something bad is going to happen.
