   You are right. It does almost look like it’s a sticker on the glass and not a toy. Maybe just a hastily drawn perspective though. Hopefully we will soon find out more! Can’t wait until tomorrow.

   I’m aware. It’s a cruel practice, basically removing part of their fingers. But Sophie is declawed. It probably was done by her previous owners and not her current ones. However, I was pointing out that her “rescuers” probably didn’t realize and are therefore afraid of her scratching up their precious fancy furniture.

   My guess, they don’t want a cat to mess up said precious living room. They don’t want her scratching the furniture, do her business somewhere, or make her art because they think it’s a mess. They have clearly no clue about cats, so they don’t know that poor Sophie is declawed, that cats will do their business discretely and neatly if given the chance, and that cat need to play.
