Doesn’t explain why Little Dog Lost was missing – he’s not political ;-)

Mine’s not. Either here or the Spanish version. Never mind, I know what it was about.

Anybody else missing John’s political cartoon today? I’m also missing Rob Rogers — and Little Dog Lost. When it was just the political strips I assumed it was censorship, but LDL makes that less likely.

Did you ever notice that the adjective for metal is metallic, but not so for iron? Which is ironic.

Pockets in a shirt? If you’re a lady plugger like me, you’re lucky to find usable pockets in pants! Or dresses or skirts for that matter.

Third for me, but the other two were political! I thought it was some kinda censorship but this makes that less likely.

5-Bth? Is that pronounced “BEE-th,” or just like blowing a raspberry?

What, you didn’t have pages and pages of math problems? Lucky!

Me, I was a weird kid who loved “word problems.” I actually know how to do math, I just find numbers much more interesting and enjoyable when I’m applying them to something. Same with algebra (hated it) and geometry (loved it)!

BTW, my Intro to Algebra teacher (7th grade, Catholic school, c. 1970) was a pretty good basketball coach. Because every class, he had a little get-together with the team, and told the rest of us to “work out of the book, at our own pace.” I switched schools for 8th grade, and ended up having to repeat Intro to Algebra in the new school. Many years later, I found out that most of my class ended up having to repeat that work, either in 8th grade or once they got to high school! Don’t know if that included the basketball players or not.
