NO ONE, whether an 8 year old child or an adult arabic man, should EVER be forced to be frisked before they can get on an air plane. The only people who should ever need to be frisked are ones who are known dangers (eg- prisoner being extradited).

The current state of air port “security” is down-right ridiculous.

strickmaedel- that’s contrary to what my sister’s friend did with her kid. She spoke to him in full sentences and he started doing the same at about 2 1/2 years old. Any child I’ve ever known who’s parents used baby talk on them took much longer to learn how to speak properly.

There was a Garfield like this one recently. Except Garfield got angry with the weather, yelled “Make up your mind!” and got simultaneous rain and sun shine.

Whenever you have trouble trying to figure out what a particular abbreviation or emoticon is supposed to mean, go to urbandictionary.com; you should be able to find the definition you need there.

In Japan, the tradition for Valentines Day is for women to give chocolate to the guys they like. Consequently, guys really like Valentines over there. For those curious, men reciprocate the gifts on White Day (March 15).

“We are all atheists about most of the gods that societies have ever believed in. Some of us just go one god further.”- Richard Dawkins Seriously, if you’re going to deny the existence of thousands of gods that other people have believed in; why can’t you deny the existence of one more? Why is that so hard? It has been my firm belief for years now that religion is the basis for everything that is wrong in this world. Religion causes wars, genocide, fear, bigotry, and anger. It gives people false hope and a false sense of comfort. Go to youtube and search “george carlin religion”, he makes some excellent points.

I thought that if you didn’t rake the leaves, they could actually like suffocate the grass or something. I’ve seen lawns that turned brown because the owners didn’t rake the leaves.
