I stopped reading GoComics last Summer, as the ads were making it difficult for me. I’m not able to get a paid subscription. When I complained, GC’s response was that I should get a paid subscription, so I left.

Today, the ads don’t look as bad when I left. Maybe I’ll return.

A big box store here has machines that sell lottery tickets. It says something like “Must be 18 to play”. I saw a map of Orange County, CA. I’m not sure when the map was printed, but I’m guessing the 1970s. A remote area had street names like “Thisa Way”, “Thata Way”, “Outa Way”, “Upa Way”, “Downa Way” …

The air inside potato chip bags is to protect the chips. Without it, there would be many more broken or crushed chips per bag.The air inside potato chips is actually nitrogen. Without oxygen, the chips will stay fresh longer before the bag is opened.Laura Scudder pioneered selling potato chips in bags.
