humans in general aren’t much bothered by extinction of other species until it IMPACTS them.
Extinction is naturally occurring - the rub is we are overwhelmingly rushing extinction by destroying habitats.
You can chitchat all you want about the possibilities of adaptation but you need to realize species don’t ‘mutate’ over night and unfortunately our habitat destruction is frighteningly rapid. We are down to what? 150 Florida panthers?
