I love it. I first saw Don Martin’s cartoons in a MAD magazine that one of my friends smuggled in to my fifth grade classroom in 1959. I was surrepticiously reading it in the back of the classroom when I lost control and burst out laughing. Busted! Sister Mary Edgar confiscated the magazine and I scored a major punishment writing assignment about wasting time reading trash. My folks gave me a talking-to at home. to boot. Plus I had to buy my buddy a new copy, because he hadn’t finished reading it. I felt guilty for having gotten it impounded. BTW, I became a big fan of MAD magazine for many years.

Several times at church, I have been complimented on my clothing choice for the day. by women. Several have asked me over the years if my wife selects my wardrobe( she is always impeccably dressed, herself). I reply that i dress myself. Its kin of ironic that, in this day and age, most people just run around dressed like unmade beds. BTW, I am a retired U.S. Army Field Artilleryman.

Enjoy it while it lasts, Max. It won’t be long before you have somebody telling you what is appropriate or not. Especially if you are married

Danae is toast! Remember that Santa Claus was once a stinky booger-brained boy himself.

“You want what? When?” Sounds of laughter and giggling and muted grumbling and cursing in the background.

Retired calendar has 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday every week. 5-year USPS City Letter Carrier retired for 16 years. I’m almost as busy now as when I was working, but there is much more variety in each day’s activities. Cheers!!

I never went to a potluck supper that I didn’t like!
