   I have not read C&H in years; I thought they all are “classics” now. Personally, I like R&R better. R&R shows respect, (i.e. veteran’s day,memorial day and R’s mother with Rover. C&H seldom did.

   Well, when I was that age, there was Jan. She moved to Indiana and I never heard from or saw her again as we moved to Missouri. I often wonder what happened to her; in my thoughts she hasn’t aged a bit. I know she has, but she still is the same 2 grader…..Back then we were each other’s shadow.

   Yes they are. (And spoiled, too) The yellow Lab is stubborn, but knows when to cheer you up when you aren’t feeling good, or sick. The Golden exists to be petted and she is pretty good at positioning herself in just the right spot where she want to be petted..

    Well, there is the joke that you can train a golden with a dirty look, but you need a 2×4 with a lab. I have both and understand the joke. Having said that, I can’t say which is better.
