   I seem to recall he had some health issues. A shame, though, because it would be nice for some of these unique strips (Agnes is another that comes to mind) to hand off to new writer/artists to carry on the way Blondie, Dick Tracy and several others have been around forever. These days a strip dies when its creator gets bored or can’t carry on.

   Yesterday people on Twitter-X were posting that 60 years ago The Jetsons premiered. A couple of people were commenting how it was ridiculous in the opening titles that George was giving Jane cash to go shopping. But who’s to say a cartoon future might not’ve already tried electronic payments and decided to go back to physical money?
