    I remember when ‘Doggie’ was new and very popular. Our dog rode in the back window of our car, and we were frequently serenaded when stopped at signal lights.

    I’ve donated a lot of my tournament shirts. People can pretend they’re ninjas, even if they aren’t. (No, I’m not really a ninja either; I just enjoy the training and the people in the sport. And the exercise it forces onto me.)

    Shel Silverstein is good, but I like Jack Prelutsky better. A little more humor, maybe, and a little less satirical bite. Fun stuff!
