you’re old self? My kingdom for a proofreader!

And then there’s the guy in the background with his brand new hovercamel.

The exchange about Tesla in the first panel is classic.

Personally, if it’s during my off hours (such as when I’m grocery shopping), I let voice mail handle the call. If it’s not important enough for the caller to leave voice mail, it must not have been important enough for me to interrupt my down time in the first place.

I understand phoning it in for a few days over the holidays, but come on…we’ve been doing some sort of lame theme week or other for at least a month now. Can we move on please?

  8. almost 16 years ago on The Academia Waltz

Ah, yes…so many people confuse “horny” with “in love”. Good for her for figuring out the difference!

  9. almost 16 years ago on The Argyle Sweater

Many times I come up with an idea I think would make a great joke. After turning it around in my head for a while though, I realize I can’t really make it funny enough, and I discard it. I think Mr. Hilburn should acquaint himself with the last part of that process.

Garfield adds nothing to this particular strip except as someone for Jon to talk to. His lines add nothing to the joke. I like this one better without Garfield.
