    Depends on the application. Any of the Intel based Macs from about 2010 on can run a decent browser and surf the web. Many CAD and computational applications are now requiring minimum I9 (still Intel) and M1 Silicon (Apple) processors. Everymac .com can break down the history, dates and computers.
