    In New Jersey we have a number of medical servicing places—hosptals, urgent-care facilities, etc.—named “Virtua.” I sometimes wonder if they dispense imaginary medicine.

    This method worked pretty well for “Murder, She Wrote” and “Perry Mason,” but “Ironside” was creative enough with its plots that you can’t count on it. (We’ve gone through “M,SW” about three times, and “PM” once, and are nearly halfway through “IS” as of last night.)

    It worked OK for me. BTW, I didn’t get the instructions allowing you to turn a blank paper into a $1 bill, THEN the $1 into a 5, and that into a ten. The one I bought didn’t have enough roll room to do that, I think, but it’s a great idea.
