I agree with plus4āthis is every bit as viable a theory as postulating a Huge Kaboom. God was obviously the one who made everything. See http://www.icr.org/universe-power/
āThen some of the Pharisees and teachers of the law said to [Jesus], āTeacher, we want to see a miraculous sign from you.ā He answered, āA wicked and adulterous generation asks for a miraculous sign! But none will be given it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is hereā ā (Matthew 12:38-41).
Jesus said this to people who had already seen him heal the sick and raise the dead. No proof or sign or appearance will convince someone who doesnāt want to believe. But thatās why itās called ābelief,ā b/c one has the option to reject any idea, even oneās -own- existence. Food for thought.
Someone once said (and I paraphrase): fictional evil is exciting while fictional good is boring; but in real life, good is plenty exciting, while actual evil is anything butā¦.
Would be funnier if people didnāt really believe this sort of thing. According to the Bible, God saves any person from hell who has faith in him. This is because of Godās graceāa gift from God. Hell is real. Purgatory is not.
