I am just a bit closer a little south of Seattle but alas finances and likelihood of be able to get tickets let alone find a place to stay makes it a not possible for me at this time. That is also my niece Sorren’s birthday.

Had 2 bike accidents that involved my head. 1st one I didn’t wear my helmet and had 25 stitches in my head. Second was wearing my helmet, hit a metal stop light pole with the top of my head and slightly pulled a muscle in my shoulder and that was all. I am a HUGE believer in helmets.

Exactly! I just don’t think GOAT is a really well though out term even if it fits as an acronym. Not to mention best in any field depends on what your criteria are but Serena is right now the most accomplished and over her career dominant in tennis.

Having had 2 bicycle accidents one with the helmet and one without I know that is true! Without a helmet I was lucky to only have 25 stitches in my head(I landed in a parking strip unpaved) and the second time I hit a metal stoplight pole head first(top of my head) wearing a helmet this time the helmet was cracked and I suffered a pulled muscle in my right shoulder. HELMETS SAVE LIVES AND MONEY

We had a two car garage while I was growing up and I can recall very little of that time (my parents bought the house in the early 1970’s and sold it in I believe it was 2016) when we could fit one let alone 2 cars. The last time it was possible was when we shoveled out the house for sale. My brother and his wife now have a house and of course there is no room in the garage for any one of the family of cars they have(our mom lives with them).

John Gruden is deserving of a nomination!

Just discovered Ginger Meggs when I found this site and it’s interesting to see a comic from somewhere else in the world (live near Seattle WA USA). It’s entertaining and occasionally educational. Nice to see it has been around for so long and is still going. Keep up the good work!

Plus one Garfield equals two empty plates. He forgot to put in the Garfield variable!

That does apply to so many of us especially this year!

I can only say that only recently have I even known that the award was named after judge Landis and I have never heard it referred to as the Kenisaw Mountain Landis MVP Award. While he did help baseball his determination to keep the game white is not the best chapter in the story of the professional game. The Frank Robinson MVP Award is a fitting tribute to the first person to win it in both leagues.
