That is a very Grinchy comic! Live trees remind me of cutting a tree in the woods with my father. Those are GOOD memories for me. I like the smell of the pine. It reminds me of my childhood home. I paid less than $70 and it was totally worth it to bring back fond memories.
FYI — Christmas trees are a crop grown by a farmer on a Christmas tree farm. It is a renewable resource as the farmer will plant more trees to replace those he sells. My trees get chipped for mulch by the town where I live.
Thanks for all the laughs! I still have some of your strips on my refrigerator. My favorite is the hilusband and wife saying good bye while he is still cozy in bed and she is leaving for work. It ends with her telling him that is where the foroner would find him! Enjoy your retirement!
