If you get rid of all the people who do nothing but fulfill needless paperwork mandates and the bad teachers you’d be doing two things at once….saving money and allowing good teachers to teach rather than doing paperwork that in the end is meaningless. My wife is a retired teacher. She was required to practically write a book on each student. Was this information used to help plan the student’s education? NO. It was shredded at the end of the year and the next teacher had to start with nothing again. Now that is a stupid waste of time and money if all those reports aren’t used to help that child. That is where the waste is in education.

It takes about .3 seconds for a bad person to the trigger. Average police response time is 15 minutes. While I have a great respect for our police officers, it simply isn’t possible for them to be everywhere. You must be able to defend your own families.

As for protecting the police and private citizens. I doubt that there are many times that violence against police or private citizens is committed by the owner of a legally purchased gun. Crimes are committed by criminals and they won’t obey gun control laws anyway.

The only thing that preventing the legal ownership of guns does is make it easier for illegal owners of guns to commit the crimes.

Only one problem with using Gold or Silver for US Money. Fort Knox is empty. All the gold has either gone to countries who demanded gold for payments or in the hand of collectors. The Silver is with collectors. Basically the US is totally devoid of anything of true value.

I think health care assistance should be assisted for those who cannot get care otherwise. But I have a BIG problem with some government drone deciding if I am enough value to society to receive care.

Elephant or Jackass, either way we are screwed. As with most USA relief efforts, most of the stuff sent to Haiti went to the politically favored of the country. If you look at what aid the government and private organizations gave rather that what the common people received, you might get a different picture. As for cinder block, Haiti is much more likely to be hit with hurricanes than another earthquake. You need a sturdy home to protect you from the more likely threat.

I am about fed up with a lot of this, especial Iran, does E=MC2 give you any ideas?

That cartoon show nothing about arms superiority. It shows that hezboola is using hospitals and schools to shield their weapons so that if Israel takes them out thay can cry deliberate attacks on civilians. The UN, as usual, is totally useless and only there to attack the US and its Allies.

They claimed certain companies were too big to allow fail. Let’s hope the USA is too big to fail.

I don’t care if they are Republican or Democrat, I just want people who have actually read the Constitution and uphold and protect it. It would also help if they had some morals and ethics. Oh yeah, and they should represent the will of the people who elected them and not the organizations who give them the most money of make the biggest noise. Oh yeah, as a former Law Enforcement Officer, profiling is not racist, its damned good work.
