    My 2019 Golf R with 330hp begs to differ. Yaaaahoooo!

    I’m all for it it being legal, and enjoy it myself – but don’t drive, you’re still impaired.

    To a point. I was chatting with a disabled person back home in Ireland about this last week that shifted my perspective a little bit. “It’s not that I never thought it was offensive until recently, I always have. I just never thought I could speak up until recently.”

    Have to say, hearing a character refer to Frazz as UNCHARACTERISTICALLY judgy was one of the better laughs this strip has gotten in months.

    Still weird that every kid in the school seems to know every aspect of his plethora of athletic hobbies, though.

    This explanation can be pared down further (truly milking the “solve for x” analogy!) to:

    Caulfield = Argumentative *.

    Yaddle!

    Yup, 100%. I’m certainly on the left side of the political spectrum (well, the American spectrum… back in Europe, I’m centrist) and while the rise of the populist GOP sickens me, the behaviour of the “other side” doesn’t exactly cover them in glory. The sad reality is that the amount of high ranking public officials in office who actually care about the people they were elected to represent are greatly outnumbered by the ones who only care about themselves.

    Every morning, I drop my second grade daughter off at school, then drive home to get back to work. Unfortunately the local high school is on the way back and EVERY day I have to stop while kids are crossing the road (in the crosswalk, so that’s fine) but shuffling along staring at their screens, and often they’ll just stop walking halfway across to reply to a message. Drives me completely up the wall.

    I use stuff from the Art of Shaving, and those d-bags made their extremely expensive after shave balm in little pump bottles that can’t be opened, and has the siphon about an eighth of an inch too short, meaning about 10% of the contents are completely unusable. Which, for a $40 bottle means I toss out $4 worth. Won’t be buying it again which is a shame because it’s REALLY good.

    Yep. Sounds about right. After a couple of years of watching the various remodeling shows on HGTV, with families having a renovation budget of $50k and getting a complete home makeover in return, my wife broke down and announced it was time to redo our kitchen. “Since they’re all getting home house remodels for that, we should be able to do it for $20k!” I just shook my head and let her get on with it. Five bids later, the lowest one we got was for $45,000 and so our kitchen went untouched…
