   Do y’all really think that Hobbes doesn’t exist? Of course he exists. The problem is that the parents are incapable of seeing him for what he is. BTW, if you had Calvin running loose in your home, would you not have a tendency to blame your significant other?

   If you could put the best of each of their brains together in a single package you would still have the equivalent of a C- middle school student. Throw in Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich and you probably lower the GPA.

   Thanks Chovil, I needed a bunch of sweeping generalities to get my day off to a proper start. Maybe I’ll go throw a slushie at my wife while she sleeps. Maybe I won’t live to see the sun set in the Pacific tonight.

   If Calvin chooses to throw, he will miss. Susie’s compassionate retaliation will soak him to the skin. Stay cool Calvin.

   I have always felt that if dogs are not allowed into heaven then I will be perfectly happy to go wherever they (and tigers) are hanging out. The same goes for folks whose religion is unorganized. In general they are a lot more interesting than the organized ones, and that’s the truth!

   Hey, I never realized that Hobbes was left handed. That explains a lot, especially that slightly sinister attitude he displays whenever Calvin arrives home from school.

   Why does anyone assume that humans are the final step in the evolutionary process? No species lasts forever, and the way we are going we will join the long parade sooner than we probably should have, and we are going to take a lot of other species with us. What I like to consider is what species will fill our niche. Think about it.

    Yeah, I was looking at that seatbelt situation. Mom and dad are safely strapped in, but Calvin could become a flying projectile. Coincidence?? I think not.
