That’s my husband’s philosophy, too–the best way to get rid of a bad mood is to give it to someone else. I disagree though. Making someone else unhappy doesn’t make me any happier.
There are many fun ways to help your kids behave at a nice restaurant. You just have to make a game out of it.
My children are also always surprised that I can outrun them. Grown-ups’ legs are twice as long as yours, kids.
I had a very similar conversation with my kids shortly before Christmas.
@BC13, I don’t think so, but he has sent Susie in the front door first in the hope that Hobbes would pounce on her. That didn’t work either.
Jumping jacks are my favorite cure for hiccups. Works quickly every time.
