This strip is a must read for me. I love it!

  2. over 15 years ago on Gasoline Alley

I like this comic strip, and I am fine with Bird’s statement in panel 3. (Note, I am a white male.)

His remark is how people speak in the ‘real world’.

Continuing, this statement wasn’t uttered using a derogatory slang toward a white man.

This strip has a good story and is well drawn.

    Enjoy ~

Sure you can dye scrambled eggs– just use ketchup!

  4. over 15 years ago on Last Kiss

    doctortoon says:

… “you know what they say about rabbits…”

I wonder if he’s leading her down a rabbit hole.

  5. over 15 years ago on Frank and Ernest

    It was a sight gag!

Ketchup with fries -yes. Ketchup on hamburgers - yes. Ketchup on eggs even- yes.

Ketchup on salmon? I’m with Fred on this one.

At least she’s not over(t)ly aggressive.

  8. over 15 years ago on Flo and Friends

“The girl ‘not named Tina’ ” is too smart for her own good.

In “my day” we had 4 Channels - 2 (CBS), 4 (NBC), 7 (ABC), 9 ( Windsor) … later 50 (Detroit) and 56 (Public TV).

Black and White TV that was able to have “color” by putting a plastic cover over the screen.

Rabbit ears for a “better” picture.

Change channels manually ie get up off of floor (usually watched TV laying/sitting on the floor).

    Simple pleasures ~ authentically happy!
