Okay. What’s wrong with the colorist these days? Mutt’s fez if supposed to be red, his Panama, straw colored. These seem to have been reversed not too long ago.

GoCubzGo is spot on! Lynn goofed on this one. Nothing funny here! (I must assume Lynn had no idea how violently these machine throw snow.)

This bothers me. I have known Chipper sine he was about 6 years old. His hair is black. Black; black;black.

I remember when he became a PA and grew his beard.

Yes, I know the colorist cannot put in black-quoi-black where she’s added a half-tone brown. But she could use half-tone black; i.e. a very dark grey, for that intended salt-and-pepper look.

Uh, it’s not Latin, but Greek. (From “algos”)

It would be a sounder hammer blow if reversed in grip.

Turner’s folks colorized Advice and Consent, and those particular clowns decided to advance the plot a bit for slower viewers through heavy use of the color lavender in a certain NYC apartment.

Color is good when it adds information. Folks who had to work in B&W (or chose to) put it all there monochromatically.

Then there’s the highly original art of the strip Overboard, right here. Colorization destroys its beautiful wood-block texture.

    Down with comic-strip coloring!

(Can you imagine the New Yorker colorizing an old William Steig?)

What’s with the inverted-color rainbow now? Colorization of good pen art is bad enough!

Has that colorist ever left his computer screen long enough to look at a rainbow?

How does one get a magnetic “S” to stick reversed?
