   I grew up during one of California’s drought periods. Showers were limited to 2 minutes. Or you could take a bath, in no more than 4" of water (exceedingly unsatisfactory!). I have no sympathy for Twig.

   My personal trainer has us start in the “up” position, then go down as far as we can while keeping good form. Avoids the tendency to arch your back.

   “Tight” is current slang for “cool”, “proud ally” means his friends are assuming he’s standing up for trans/nonbinary classmates (because it’s a women’s sweater), “power” in this context means “right on, dude”, or “powerful statement”. Baldo just likes how it looks.

   Except in the 3rd panel, where Kat asks Dean about Charlotte. I think tan is “my phone” and blue is “their phone”, whichever phone we’re looking at.

   They are the bane of my existence as well, but mostly because I invariably find them far too warm and end up unstuffing them at any hotels I might be staying in. I find the cover to be quite sufficient, even last winter in northern Sweden.
